The dry out process uses heat to drive mechanical water out of the refractory and create a chemical bonding of refractory material. This method is useful in high-temperature operations because of its resistance to abrasion and protection of components it’s applied to. The pressure helps drive convective heat through refractory material, driving out any mechanical water used in the making of the refractory. Clayburn has experience in the placement and operations of burner systems for these critical path components. Our customers have peace of mind that temperature control, safety and quality will never be sacrificed with Clayburn’s dry out services.
